Upcoming Activities/Events

The Travelers Championship, June 22-28 is just around the corner. Now is the time to make your reservations if you wish to make this the perfect event. The Winter Solstice Room and the Summer Wind Room will be available for your stay.

Why stay at a hotel with views of parking lots and highways, when you can experience a location where a variety of wonderful restaurants are just steps out the front door, and where quiet walks along the Connecticut River are just out the back door?

And you can even arrive at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell by taking a leisurely (and almost shorter) drive through historic Glastonbury and South Glastonbury and take the Ferry (the oldest continually operating ferry in the United States) across the Connecticut River where the TPC is just around the corner! By the way, you can get more information on The Travelers Tournament here.

SPECIAL: There is no minimum stay requirement, but if you book 2 nights, you will also receive a $50 gift certificate  to be used at one of the restaurants in walking distance of the inn or to be used on a future stay.

Don't forget to take advantage of the Connecticut Open House Day on Saturday June 13! Get more information on all the venues you can visit HERE  We will be taking part by giving tours of the Inn and serving our signature Gingerbread cookies and "almost" homemade lemonade (we say almost because we purchase it from a cooperative of dairy farms in Eastern Connecticut who make and package it - it's just like homemade - really!- and we are supporting their efforts to keep dairy farms viable in our great state).

Since I am also an artist , I will have a variety of my designs on hand for sale at a 15% discount and I might even have a few craft classes (not sure what yet - but stay tuned!)

SPECIAL 2 for1: The Winter Solstice, Summer Wind and Autumn Glow rooms will be available for the Open House Day, but since we will also be providing tours, we are offering two nights for the price of one! Friday and Saturday only for this special.

Don't  miss the Rose & Garden Weekend, June 20-21! Get more information HERE about all the gardens in the area which will be participation with  beautiful rose gardens at their peak! Also, if you click on the "click for details" in the banner above you can download and print out  a listing of all the participating gardens

SPECIAL: Make it a special event! Book a two night stay (Friday & Saturday) and get a vase of roses in your room and a $50 gift certificate to be used at one of the wonderful restaurants in walking distance of the inn. Come back to the inn after your long day of garden tours and relax among our roses which will also be in bloom.

This is a great romantic excursion or a fun event as a "girlfriends getaway"
